About The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4x4 SUV

Meet the legendary Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. It's the ultimate off-road SUV. If you're looking to hit the trails or simply prefer the rugged off-road appearance and features, the new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is for you.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is one of the toughest off-road 4x4 SUVs on the market. Jeep didn't just get its capable off-road reputation through marketing. It actually proves it over and over again with its vehicles. And the Wrangler Rubicon is the flagship of off-roading vehicles.

Jeep Wrangler Off-Roading Model

The Wrangler Rubicon uses Jeep's Rock-Trac® 4x4 system with a 4:1 low-range gear ratio. This setup allows for extremely slow, controlled movement making it excellent for rock crawling. For even more traction the Rubicon is equipped with front + rear Tru-Lok® locking differentials that force both wheels on an axle to spin simultaneously, so if one wheel ends up getting stuck in the mud or sand or on ice, the other will still push you forward.

And it doesn't stop there, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is also equipped with electronic sway bar disconnect that lets the front suspension move more freely. This helps to keep your tires on the ground over uneven obstacles instead of lifting up.

Some more Wrangler Rubicon off-road features include:

  • High ground clearance of 10.8"
  • Steel skid plates protecting the underside
  • Rock rails protecting the sides
  • Heavy-duty bumpers & tow hooks

  • The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is the epitome of Jeep's Trail Rated Badge, meaning that it's been fully tested for traction, rock crawling, water fording, maneuverability, and more. This Jeep has it all when it comes to off-roading.

    Frequently Asked Rubicon Questions:

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is named after the Rubicon Trail in Sierra, Nevada. The Rubicon Trail is a 22-mile-long route that is carved out of the California mountains. It consists of ancient glaciers, massive rocks climbing obstacles, and overflowing creeks. You'll be surprised to know that every Jeep model must pass through rigorous tests on the Rubicon Trail. You'll also be glad to know that the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is built to take on all of the Rubicon Trails toughest obstacles. As a result, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is one of the few fully trail-rated SUVs in Central Florida.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is widely considered the best Jeep for off-roading. Or simply the best vehicle for off-roading, period. It offers an array of off-roading features such as a superior 4x4 system & traction, locking differentials, electronic sway bar disconnects, excellent geometry, and more. The Wrangler Rubicon is also offered in a 2-door option, which gives it even more off-road capability than the already amazing 4-door.

The estimated price of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon varies depending on options, packages, and location. For example, it comes available as a 2-door or 4-door option. The possibilities are endless with a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon which means prices vary accordingly. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a quick quote on a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, fill out the online form below to get specifics. You can also shop our Wrangler inventory to get a better idea of what each one may cost.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon comes standard with LT285/70SR17C BSW AT off-road tires that can easily maneuver through trails, sand, snow, and mud. These Rubicons tires also give you additional ground clearance to help you climb over rocks, branches, and other obstacles in your way.

Many of our Jeep customers here in South Orlando love having the new Wrangler Rubicon as their everyday SUV. It's important to note that the Rubicon is designed for the trails, which means it may offer a slightly rougher ride on the streets as some of the other Wrangler trim options. The interior can be a bit noisier when driving at high speeds due to the soft tops and removable panels, but many Jeep drivers like this about the Rubicon and see this as part of the charm. Ultimately, the Wrangler Rubicon is in a league of its own when it comes to off-roading vehicles and its style. However, if you're looking for a fuel-efficient commuting SUV then you may want to look at a different Jeep model.
